Microsoft's End of Support List of Products for October 2025

A number of Microsoft products, detailed below, will reach their end of support or retirement on October 14, 2025. Customers are advised to begin planning and executing upgrades now to keep their systems supported and secure while benefiting from the enhanced features in newer products and services.

After this date, these products will no longer receive security updates, non-security updates, bug fixes, or technical assistance.

Products and their Migration Guidance:

• Windows 10*: Transition to Windows 11

• Office 2016 and 2019: Which include Access, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word - 2016 and 2019 versions. Upgrade from older Office versions to Microsoft 365 Apps

• Exchange Server 2016 and 2019: Check the Exchange Server Roadmap Update via Microsoft Community Hub

• Skype for Business Server 2015 and 2019: Refer to the Skype for Business Server Roadmap Update on Microsoft Community Hub

• Visio 2016 and 2019: Follow the Deployment guide for Visio with Microsoft 365 Apps

• Project 2016 and 2019: Upgrade to Project Server Subscription Edition

• Visual Studio 2015: Consider Visual Studio 2022 Release History

• Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (now Azure Dev Ops): Upgrade your deployment to TFS

• Windows 10 Team (Surface Hub): Migrate to Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows, or upgrade to Windows 10/11 Pro or Enterprise on Surface Hub 2S

*Support for these editions of Windows 10 will cease on October 14, 2025:
