Meet the team

The people who lead RMON day to day. Owner-led since 2002, with a management bench measured in years, not months.

Leadership

Tim Howard, President and CEO of RMON Networks
Tim Howard
President & CEO

Founder and owner, leading RMON since 2002. More than 36 years in IT, with IT-director roles before he started the company. A member of InfraGard, the FBI's public-private security partnership. Hooked on technology since War Games in 1983.

Tim is the owner and founder of RMON Networks and has led the company since he started it in 2002. For more than two decades his focus has not changed: give small and mid-sized organizations IT support they can actually rely on, with technology decisions built around what each client is trying to accomplish.

He has worked in IT for more than 36 years, 23 of them running RMON. Before founding the company he was Director of IT for The Learning Company, Matrix One, and SnowShore Networks. He holds a BA in Computer Science and Technical Management from the Wentworth Institute of Technology, along with MCP, MCSE, and MCITP certifications. His interest in computers started in 1983 after he saw War Games, and he has paid close attention to network security and internet technology ever since.

Tim also takes part in Microsoft’s Black Partner program and the Ingram Micro Trust X Alliance, a peer group of IT leaders who compare what works and vet new technology together, and he is a member of InfraGard, the FBI’s public-private partnership for protecting US critical infrastructure. Outside work he is usually outdoors, whether that means sports, fishing, or just getting out into nature.

Denise Howard, Vice President of RMON Networks

Denise is a co-founder of RMON Networks and has worked in IT for more than 23 years, watching the field change from the inside the whole way. She leads the team that assesses, plans, and delivers technology for clients, keeping them productive and secure as the tools keep shifting.

She earned a BS in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Bridgewater State College. Early roles at H&R Block, Kohl’s, Automated Data Systems, and Egghead Software’s corporate sales group built a foundation in customer service, sales, and project management that she still draws on. She started out in computer technology sales, where she sharpened both the people side and the technical side of the work.

“Helping people is something I love to do. If I can make someone’s job easier by improving their technology, I will.”

Outside work Denise is outdoors when she can be, traveling to new places, spending time with her dogs, and following her interests in music and art.

Dave E., Chief Information Officer of RMON Networks
Dave E.
Chief Information Officer

Leads RMON's technology strategy and new client solutions. 30+ years in IT, CJIS and DFIR certified, and an InfraGard member. A computer guy since age five who now builds with AI, responsibly.

Dave leads technology strategy at RMON Networks, making sure the tools we run serve real business goals, for our clients and for RMON itself. He helps shape new client solutions and works with Tim and Denise to grow the company.

Dave has been with RMON since 2013, with more than 30 years in IT behind him. He founded his first IT consulting company while still in high school, and has worked with organizations of every size since, from small businesses to large enterprises. He is Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and DFIR certified, a Microsoft Certified Professional, and a Sophos Certified Engineer, with hands-on experience across healthcare compliance, retail, financial services, and digital forensics. He is also an InfraGard member, part of the FBI’s public-private partnership that shares threat intelligence to protect US critical infrastructure. Years spent as a technical instructor mean he is as good at explaining the why as he is at fixing the what.

“I was a PC person my whole life, until I built my first Hackintosh in 2010 out of an old Dell I had lying around.”

A computer guy since the age of five, Dave stays on the cutting edge, usually running the latest betas across his phones, consoles, computers, and servers.

These days that curiosity points squarely at AI. On his own time Dave designs and builds complete websites and applications, the kind of work that used to take a small team months, because modern AI development tools collapse the distance from idea to working product. He brings the same mindset to RMON: AI is a powerful accelerator that still has to earn its place. Every tool and experiment is held to the same compliance and security bar RMON applies to client work, so moving faster never means getting looser with the things that protect client data.

Outside RMON, you will find him with friends and family, reading, or out on a road trip.

With more than 20 years of IT experience, Daryl brings a strong background in network operations, cybersecurity, incident response, and service delivery.

Daryl first joined RMON in 2013.
