techrug DFIR Certified.
RMON Networks has earned the techrug DFIR Certified designation for digital forensics and incident response. Here is what that means, and what it means for the organizations we manage.
- Digital forensics and incident response
- Certified through techrug
- Backs first response for managed clients

What techrug DFIR Certified means
DFIR stands for digital forensics and incident response: investigating a security incident, containing it, and understanding what happened. The techrug DFIR Certified designation recognizes providers that complete techrug’s certification program in that discipline. techrug is preparing a co-branded explainer of the program, and the full detail of what the certification covers will live on this page.
What it means for our clients
For the organizations we manage, the certification backs work that already exists in the RMON model: layered security, first response and containment when something gets through, and a clear account of what happened. And because techrug underwrites cyber risk, it is a designation the insurance side of the table recognizes.
Not an RMON client?
RMON is a managed IT and security provider for its clients, not an on-call incident-response firm. Mid-incident, your cyber insurer or a dedicated incident-response firm is the right call. After stabilization, if you want a team that keeps you out of the next one, that is us.
